Lettre à France

Lettre à France is a pop song of Michel Polnareff and Jean-Loup Dabadie released in 1977. Michel Polnareff is at that time “exiled” in the USA and sings his nostalgia for France.

In addition to the wonderful melody and orchestration, the vocal performance in absolutely outstanding. The very high pitch melody requires a voice of exception and makes of it one of the most difficult pop song to perform.

Up to now, the French singer Pascal Obisbo only has been able to do justice to this jewel.

Mass of Saint Roch - Score Cover

Mass of Saint Roch – Penitential Act

I composed this penitential act from the Mass of Saint Roch in 2009. It is written for choir SATB and organ, but also includes a SSA version for children voices. Saint Roch is rather popular in the north of Europe and in the city of Cambrai (my diocese) has a church named after this saint.
