Lauda Sion

Lauda Sion – Prelude for Brass Ensemble

I composed Lauda Sion – Prelude for Brass in 2015 for the national pilgrimage of the National Federation of Liturgical Choirs (ANCOLI) on the theme Come and praise the Lord.

This piece preceeds a motet on the Lauda Sion, text of Saint Thomas Aquinas, a sequence prescribed for the the liturgical feast of Corpus Christi. You can find the motet here.

It’s been performed in Lourdes on the 7th of November 2015 by 6000 musicians in the Basilica Saint Pie X.

Angelus

Angelus

I composed this Angelus for two voices and organ in 2000. The melody has been shaped so that accompaniement is not compulsory and the piece could be sung a capella.
