I composed this Lord’s prayer from the Messe du Royaume in 1999. It was thought so that the melody can stand on its own, without any accompaniement. It was chosen for the Yearly Episcopal Top 10 Song Selection of year 2019 in France and was also sung for the National Pilgrimage of Liturgical Choirs in 2019 in Lourdes.

Le Seigneur est tendresse et pitié – Psalm 102 is one of the two versions I recently composed for the national magazine Voix Nouvelles.
One particularity of liturgical year C is that the psalm 102 is used two times, once for the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the second time for the 3rd Sunday in Lent. The challenge was to set up two relevant musics on the same psalm that would create two different spiritual atmospheres.
